Scarpantoni Block 3 Shiraz

Produced from 65 year old dry grown vines, the Block 3 Shiraz is the flagship wine of the Estate. Inky purple-black in colour with an exquisite bouquet of ripe, aromatic blackcurrant, liquorice and nutty, toasted oak. The palate is full and rich with coffee, cassis and spice characters balanced by fine tannins and elegant acidity. Scarpantoni Brothers Block Cabernet Sauvignon

This luscious, full-bodied red is grown on Ironstone soil and aged in French oak. Displaying a complex bouquet of blackcurrant, mine and spice characters with hints of sweet toasted vanillin oak. The palate is soft and round with elegant, well integrated fruit and oak leading to a long, persistent finish.

Scarpantoni Cabernet Sauvignon

This red wine shows appealing characters of blackcurrant, spice and oak. The wine is soft and elegant with a sustained finish. A good accompaniment to grilled or roasted red meats.

Scarpantoni Chardonnay

This fresh, crisp and fruit driven white has a bouquet of green apples, limes and fragrant rose petals. The palate is lively and refreshing with zesty citrus, lychee and peach characters, balanced by crisp acidity with a clean, persistent finish. Perfect with a spicy chicken salad or a sumptuous seafood platter.

Scarpantoni Durif

A deep, dark and intense wine featuring aromas of plums, prunes and pepper spice and a palate offering more of those rich dark fruits along with fruit cake notes and a satisfyingly savoury smoky meatiness that adds further interest and complexity to the wine. Full bodied and full of flavour, enjoy with roasted red meatss or slow-cooked casseroles.

Scarpantoni Estate Sauvignon Blanc

The Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant aromatic wine, exhibiting intense passionfruit, lychee and tropical fruit characters. This wine is quite distinguishable from others as it is slightly fuller in body and with more tropical fruit characters. Enjoy drinking with seafood, especially smoked salmon, crayfish and oysters.

Scarpantoni Merlot

Produced from signature McLaren Vale fruit this medium-bodied red has an intense bouquet of ripe plums, chocolate and sue toasted oak. The palate is soft and luscious with hints of cassis and peppery spice balanced by fine oak tannins leading to a long, generous finish.

Scarpantoni Old Vine Shiraz

Over half a century in age, our California Road Shiraz wines provide us with fruit of great depth and character. The resulting wine entices with aromas and flavours of blackcurrants, mulberries, plums and dark chocolate, complemented by spicy vanilla oak. Full in body with chewy, savoury tannins enjoy now or cellar with confidence for a decade or more after release.

Scarpantoni Rose

The Ceres Rose is produced from the French grape variety Gamay that has been grown on the Estate for over 20 years. This multi-award winning rose exhibits a lively, lifted bouquet of cherries, plums and ripe raspberries. This fresh and vibrant wine is perfect to enjoy chilled in its youth. Try with spicy Thai cuisine or a sumptuous seafood platter.

This crisp white wine is a beautiful example of South Australian Sauvignon Blanc.

Scarpantoni School Block Shiraz Cabernet Merlot

Produced from a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot individually processed and aged in oak for 12 months, the School Block is soft and supple with rich fruit and hints of toasty oak. Enjoy with tomato based pasta sauces, succulent veal and lamb dishes or sipping casually with cheese and crackers.

Scarpantoni School Block White

The School Block white is a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Semillon & 10% Chenin Blanc. The fruit for this aromatic white are picked early to ensure there is enough crisp acid to keep the palate tight and fresh. The wine shows plenty of citrus, passion fruit, lime, green apple and lemon grass flavours, the palate is full, soft and balanced, with a crisp acid finish. The Sauvignon Blanc gives intense aromatics, the Semillon gives body with structure, and the Chenin Blanc has plenty of finesse with mineral characters. Best enjoyed within 2 years of release.
