A ‘Rare’ visit from Griffith

Belinda Morandin, owner of Morandin Estate dropped into Estate Wines last week for a special tasting of her products with our sales team. Her two unique wine labels –  ‘Rare’ and ‘Memory Tree’ have been taken on by our partner, Kings Wine Merchants. These vibrant wines are as unique as they are colourful with some interesting blends and unusual varietals.

The standout wines were unanimously the Rare Vermentino and the Merlot Sangiovese. Of the Vermentino, Belinda states “it has more palate weight than a Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, which means it has a higher appeal to male consumers”.

The Memory Tree Reserve Brut Cuvée was also received well as a more premium sparkling wine.
