Grant Burge 5th Generation Pinot Gris

Pale, lemon green in colour with lifted fruit aromas of nectarine, cinnamon spice and a hint of almond. The incredibly rich and creamy palate is indicative of the vintage all perfectly balance with crisp natural acidity. Soft poached pear, lychee and white peach fruits all dominate the beautifully textured palate. The extended lees contact this wine has received has added real complexity to the mid-palate and given the wine an extra dimension along with a long lingering finish. A wine best enjoyed young, and a perfect match with fresh seafood such as Thai fish cakes or crab and avocado salad.
