Andrea felici’s son, Leopardo Felici won Tre Bicchieri 2020 Winemakerof the year with two of his wines ranking amon the best expression of the region. Verdicchio, the King of white wines. Forbes has voted Verdicchio Riserva as one of the best Italian wines writing that it shows classic varietal character and marvellous subtleties. It has excellent sugar development properties and good maintenance over the acidity contents, also in very hot years, thanks to its ripening process, whish is salwyas slow and progressive. The wine is very well recognizable, with its green tones and perfumes, sometimes almost salty, its powerful mineral notes and its almond-like back taste, as well as a rare ability to sustain long bottle ageing with excellent results.

Region: Apiro, Italy
Current Vintage: 2017 | Cartons 12 x 750ml

A blend of young and older vineyards (6/7 and 35 years old vines in average respectively).
Winemaking method: few days on the skins
Aging on yeasts: 3 months.
Ageing process: In stainless steel tanks. 2 months in bottles before being released into the market.

A single vineyard CRU, from S. Francesco vineyard, from 5 years old vines.
Winemaking method: fermentation on the skins (2 weeks)
Ageing on yeasts: 12 months
Ageing process: In vitrified cement. 6 months in bottles before being released into the market.
