Ruby red with a purple hue; shows aromas of plum, nutmeg, violet and lavender; complex and juicy, with flavours of rhubarb jam, fruit flesh, and flinty undertones. It has round tannins and a well balanced acidity. Ideal accompaniment for game meats, mature cheese and stuffed pastas.
