Wine Enthusiast Magazine Nominates Angelos Iatridis for Winemaker of the Year 2014

The nomination of Angelos Iatridis for winemaker of the year 2014 by the editors of Wine Enthusiast Magazine is considered as a very important distinction for Alpha Estate and the Hellenic Wine industry.

The nomination was announced on August 28th and the fellow nominees in the category come from the USA, Italy and Australia. Congratulations to all!

The nomination was announced to Angelos Iatridis with a congratulations letter from Mr. Adam Strum, co-founder, publisher and editor of Wine Enthusiast in which, among others, he says: “On behalf of myself and the Wine Enthusiast staff, I just wanted to personally congratulate you on being nominated for the prestigious Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Award as the Winemaker of the Year. Nominees are chosen by the global team of editors at Wine Enthusiast Magazine and represent the most influential members of the beverage industry this year. Your talent and vision have clearly set you apart in the industry.’’

The final selection, in all categories is done by the international editors of Wine Enthusiast magazine and results will be announced on November 25th 2014. The Wine Star Trophies will be presented in New York on January 26th 2015.
