Diamantakis

Diamantakis winery is a modern winery in Crete. It is located southwest part of Heraklion city in the heart of the Malevizi province, outside Kato Assites village.
Family’s purpose is the production of high quality wines with both respect and care towards the cultivation process.
This is traditionally achieved by combining the unique microclimate of the area with the native varieties like Liatiko, Vidiano and Mandilaria.

Diamantopetra Rose (Liatiko)

Current Vintage: 2022 | Cartons 6 x 750ml

This delicious, thirst-quenching Rose is made with the indigenous Liatiko grape variety. After a short skin maceration the juice is cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to produce a wonderfully refreshing wine which balances delicate strawberry fruit with sour cherry and hints of spice. The finish is long, well-balanced and satisfyingly dry.

Diamantopetra White (Vidiano – Assyrtiko)

Pale yellow, bright illuminates the glass. The aroma is elegant with flavours of pineapple, apricot and chamomile which are combined elaborately with vanilla, nuts and oak. In the mouth, full bodied with crisp acidity that integrates nicely allowing the fruit to be properly expressed. The finish is long as leaving you a wonderful aftertaste with apricot and vanilla hints.
