In 1850, 12 miles north east of Penola, Mr John Smith established a sheep station and called the site Comaum. By 1888, with the arrival of more families to the area, Comaum School was opened. Our premium Coonawarra vineyard is situated on the original school house site, and each year a special wine is released in its honour.

Vibrant ripe black fruit compote and fragrant blueberry, enhanced by integrated French oak characters. Abundant fine grain tannins enhance the silky fruit length and persistence that concludes with crisp dark berry fruits and fine grain tannin.
Rich red fruits, dark cherry and ripe red plum characters with a medium body, soft rounded texture and fine tannins. Subtle oak overtones add depth and complexity to a wine that lingers with rich juicy dark red berry fruit and ripe tannin.
Intense blackcurrant and black plum, with notes of spice and cooling dried herbs. Ripe dark fruit, fine tannins and underlying toasty oak nuances create an intense and harmonious wine that reflects the Coonawarra terroir at its best.
Fragrant nashi pear and lemon peel with subtle white floral aromas. Zesty citrus, apple and pear flavours are complemented by fine texture and fresh acidity, leading to a crisp dry finish.
Vibrant and intense black cherry and forest berries, balanced with liquorice, spice and earthy notes. Generous red fruits are supported by fine boned tannins and underlying oak complexity, delivering a cool-climate Shiraz at its best.
