The Lake House

The first wine vintage was released in 2006 and the cellar door was opened. Being located down a quiet country road and set on a picturesque lake they had a dream of seeing people relax by the lake enjoying a glass of wine and grazing on delicious food made from fresh local produce and their own handcrafted Vinofood condiments.

TASTING NOTES

  • Vineyard Location:  Selected vineyards within Denmark, Frankland River and Mount Barker, Great Southern.
  • Appearance:  A very pale straw colour with youthful green tinges.
  • Aroma:  Vibrant aromas of passionfruit, cut grass and gooseberry are supported by typical cool climate flinty herbaceous notes.
  • Palate:   A crisp, seamless palate displaying citrus and pineapple with a spicy grapefruit mid-palate with hints of tropical fruits leading to a long fine finish.

TASTING NOTES

  • Vineyard Location:  Selected vineyards in Frankland River and Mount Barker, Great Southern.
  • Appearance:  Deep crimson red with youthful purple hues.
  • Aroma:  Mulberry, spice and liquorice with hints of violet.
  • Palate:   Briary red and dark fruits with a complex mid-palate of plum, black pepper, aniseed, and a long toasty coffee bean finish.

TASTING NOTES

  • Vineyard Location: Selected premium vineyard in Pemberton, South West, Western Australia.
  • Appearance: A brilliant light straw colour with youthful green tinges.
  • Aroma: An inviting nose combining stone fruits and citrus with hints of toasty, savoury barrel ferment characters.
  • Palate: A soft palate with peaches and green apple leading to a creamier mid-palate of vanilla and roasted nuts with a lingering crisp finish of grapefruit with subtle hints of spicy French oak.

  • Vineyard Location:  Selected vineyards within Frankland River, Great Southern.
  • Appearance:  Deep red with youthful violet hues.
  • Aroma:  A rich, complex nose of mulberry, pepper and spicy vanillin oak with lifted floral notes.
  • Palate:  An impressive ripe combination of blackberry and plums with a spicy aniseed and black cherry mid-palate, leading to a long finish of mocha and fine tannins.
