Stonefish Icon Premium Barossa Valley Shiraz

This superb wine is sourced from carefully selected single vineyard old Barossa Valley vines that yield small crops of intense fruit. Handpicked and fermented in open vats with time in new and old French oak, this beautifully crafted wine shows flavours of blackberry fruits, plums and warm spices.

The 2013 vintage was the driest on record and delivered smaller than average yields. The resultant wines show exceptional concentration of flavour and outstanding structure. This wine is made from a single vineyard at Marananga, to the west of the central Barossa Valley floor. This sub region is renowned for producing some of the Barossa Valley’s finest Shiraz, with wineries such as Torbreck, Two Hands, Penfolds and Peter Lehmann Wines all sourcing Shiraz from this area for their very best wines.

Stonefish Merlot

This Merlot displays juicy plum and earthy overtones. Lengthy fruit on the palate is accompanied by a fine grain tannin finish. The vintage period was long and slow, resulting in the grapes being picked in a ripe condition with good levels of natural acidity. A perfect winter warming wine.

Stonefish NERO Old Vines Shiraz

This superb dry red wine has distinctive earthen flavours marked by velvety tannins. Aged for eighteen months in 50% French hogshead and 50% seasoned oak, this dark-coloured wine imparts a beautifully lifted spicy note. What also makes this wine even more elegant is the fact that it is produced from 70 year old vines from Barossa Valley at Ebenezer in the Barossa’s North, Australia’s very own wine country.

Stonefish Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

This Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon has excellent varietal character with intense blackcurrant aroma and hints of regional bay leaf and quality oak. The palate is medium bodied with good depth of black forest fruits and a grip of fine tannins. Beautifully balanced with superb length.

Stonefish Reserve Chardonnay

This wine exudes the characters of the Margaret River terroir with it’s rugged beauty and maritime climate captured in every bottle of this superb Reserve Chardonnay.
